Mayenne River: The Mayenne is a river in western France. Together with the river Sarthe and its tributary Loir it forms the river Maine, which is a tributary to the river Loire.
Its source is in the département Orne, between Pré-en-Pail and Alençon. It joins the Sarthe in Angers.
